Kerala will take on Assam in their opening match of the Santosh Trophy National Football Championship final round on February 21. The tournament will be held in Arunachal Pradesh from February 21 to March 9. This is the first time Arunachal Pradesh is hosting the championship.

The 12 teams have been divided into two groups of six each. The top four from each group will progress to the quarterfinals.Seven-time champions Kerala had finished second behind Goa in the qualifiers.

Group A: Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Goa, Assam, Services, Kerala

Group B: Karnataka, Maharashtra, Delhi, Manipur, Mizoram, Railways
