I-League: Gokulam Kerala jump to second spot

Ludhiana: Gokulam Kerala jumped to second spot with a 4-1 win over Rajasthan United in the I-League here on Friday.

Komron Tursunov scored a brace for the Malabarians, while captain Alex Sanchez and Laishram Johnson Singh struck one each.

The winners led 1-0 at the half-time break.

Gokulam have 26 points from 14 games. Third-placed Sreenidi Deccan also have 26 points and have a game in hand. Mohammedan SC top the table with 31 points from 14 matches.

Gokulam next meet Delhi FC in Ludhiana on Monday.
