Yupia (Arunanchal Pradesh): Goa joined Services in the semifinals of the Santosh Trophy National Football Championship here on Monday.

Goa defeated Delhi 2-1 in the second quarterfinals on the day after Services had won 2-0 against the Railways earlier.

Delhi had taken the lead through Sahil Kumar who scored off a header in the 8th minute. Jobern Cardozo equalised in the 18th minute before Lloyd Cardozo fired in the winner in the 29th minute.

In the first quarterfinal, Shafeel P P gave Services an early lead by converting a penalty in the eighth minute. Samir Murmu made it 2-0 in the first minute of added time as Services went into the break sitting pretty. The scoreline remained the same in the second half.

Services will take on the winners of Tuesday's Mizoram-Kerala quarterfinal for a place in the summit clash. Goa will play the winner of the Manipur-Assam match.
