Wayanad United ended KSEB's (Kerala State Electricity Board) invincible run in the Kerala Premier League with a crushing 4-0 win at Manjeri on Friday.

Striker Ajay P V (40, Muhammed Nihal (61), Dijith (70 and captain Muhammed Ameen M M (78) scored for Wayanad United at the Payyanad Stadium.

Before the match, KSEB had a near-perfect record of nine wins and a draw from ten rounds. The power men had only conceded five goals from 10 matches before the visit of Wayanad United.

Despite the humbling loss, KSEB remain on top of the points table with 28 points, two more than second-placed Muthoot FA. Wayanad Unied have climbed to the third spot with 23 points from 12 rounds.

In a second match on the day, Kerala United defeated PFC Kerala 2-0 with Prathap E (3) and substitute Sreejith (77) scoring at the Government Boys HS Ground at Kunnamkulam.
