Jakarta: Indian shooting sensation Manu Bhaker made it to the final of the women's 25m air pistol event with an Asian Games qualification record at Palembang on Wednesday.

The teenager aggregated 593 points to take the top spot, while South Korea's Minjung Kim (585) finished second.

Manu's teammate Rahi Sarnobat also booked her place in the final with an overall score of 580. The final will be held later on Wednesday.

However, it was disappointment for Anjum Modgul in the 50m rifle positions qualifiers as she failed to make the cut. Anjum's overall tally of 1159 was not good enough to make the top-8 list.

India have so far won one gold, three silver and two bronze medals.
