Jakarta: Indian archers qualified for the finals of the men's and women's compound team events of the Asian Games here on Sunday.
India will meet South Korea in both the finals on Tuesday.
The Indian trio of Rajat Chauhan, Aman Saini and Abhishek Verma edged out the Philippines 227-226 in the quarterfinals. The Indians saw off Chinese Taipei 231-227 in the semifinals.
The Indian women comprising Muskan Kirar, Madhumita Kumari and Jyothi Surekha got the better of hosts Indonesia 229-224 in the quarterfinals before staving off Chinese Taipei’s challenge 225-222.
