Youth National Basketball: Kerala girls claim bronze, boys finish fifth

Kerala girls secured the bronze medal in the 38th Youth National Basketball Championships in Puducherry on Monday.

Tamil Nadu and Rajasthan emerged champions in the girls and boys categories respectively. Tamil Nadu beat Karnataka 65-60 while Rajasthan won 85-77 against Punjab.

In the third-fourth place playoffs, Kerala girls defeated Rajasthan 63-55. Haryana took bronze in the boys category with a 68-48 win over Tamil Nadu.

Kerala boys failed to finish on the podium but managed to end their campaign in the fifth position with a narrow 68-67 win over Uttar Pradesh.
