Brazilian athlete Almir dos Santos proposed to his partner following the men’s triple jump final at the Paris 2024 Olympics on Friday night.

Dos Santos ended up 11th at the Stade de France.

Spain’s Jordan Diaz won the gold with an effort of 17.86m, while Portugal’s Pedro Pichardo and Italy’s Andy Diaz took silver and bronze respectively.

However, Dos Santos ended his Olympic run on a memorable note, falling to one knee to propose to his girlfriend in front of the crowd.
