Harshitha Jayaram of Kerala claimed her third gold medal of the 38th National Games at Haldwani in Uttarakhand on Tuesday.

Harshitha clocked 1:14.34 to finish first in 100 m breaststroke. She couldn't break her own meet record of 1:13.89 from the 2023 Games, but her timing was sufficient to beat the Maharashtra duo of Saanvi Deshwal (1:16.37) and Jyoti Patil (1:17.36).
