India led 23-6 in the first quarter and stormed into a 42-10 lead at half-time. India hit 36 points in the third quarter, before taking it home with a 22-13 final quarter.

Maldives and Nepal play on Monday, while India's second game of the three-nation qualifying round is against Maldives on Tuesday. The final is scheduled for Wednesday.
