Indian chess star Aravindh Chithambaram continues to shine brighter each day. Just a few days after overtaking the legendary Viswanathan Anand in FIDE live ratings, Aravindh clinched the Masters title in Prague International Chess Festival on Friday.

The 25-year-old finished unbeaten in the 9-round event in Prague. He finished on 6 points following a draw with Ediz Gurel. Aravindh was a full point clear of second-place Anish Giri, who defeated R Praggnanandhaa in round 9.
Aravindh had six draws and three spectacular wins, including against Giri and Vincent Keymer, who recently won the Freestyle Grand Slam at Weissenhaus, Germany, upsetting World No. 1 Magnus Carlsen.
