Loyola School, Sreekaryam and Carmel School, Vazhuthacaud, clinched the titles of Fr Thomas Vempala all-Kerala inter-school basketball tournament at Christ Nagar Senior Secondary School in Thiruvananthapuram on Tuesday.

Carmel defeaed Jawahar Public School, Edava 48-10 in the girls' final, while Loyola defeated Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Senior Secondary School, 38-20 for the boys' title.

Hosts Christ Nagar claimed bronze in both boys and girls categories by defeating Nazareth Home English Medium School, Balaramapuram, 28-26 and Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, 16-6 respectively.

Alex Kuruvilla of Loyola and Pooja A of Carmel were adjudged the best players of the tournament.
