Pooja Ingale of Maharashtra clinched the women's doubles title and could do a double after advancing to the singles final of the Naushad Mather Memorial National Ranking Tennis Tournament in Kochi.

Ingale and partner Ishwari Ananth Matare defeated Sonal Patil and Chandana Potugari 6-4, 6-2 to clinch the women's doubles title on Friday. Ingale, who is the top seed in the women's category, will take on Telangana's Laxmi Siri Dandu in the singles final on Saturday.

Ingale defeated Sanjana Sirimala of Telangana 4-6, 6-1, 6-1 to set up the title clash with Dandu, who upset second seed Sonal Patil 6-2, 6-1 in the second semifinal.

The men's singles title will be fought between the top two seeds, Vishnu Vardhan of Telangana and Nithin Kumar Sinha of West Bengal. Vardhan defeated Kabir Hans 7-5, 6-1 in the first semifinals, while Sinha toppled the second seed Parth Agarwal of Delhi 7-6(7), 6-2.

Meanwhile, Faisal Qamar of Rajasthan and Jagmeet Singh of Haryana clinched the men's doubles title, defeating Tamil Nadu pair Lohit Aksha and Abhinav Sanjiv 6-2, 6-4.
