On Independence Day, a group of nine actors, models and sports personalities came together to pay their respects to the Indian Army in an unique way. Their mission was to retrace and relive the Indian Army's journey to scale the Siachen Glacier.
The team included Arjun Rampal, Rannvijay Singh, Arunoday Singh, Sonnali Seygall, Shlok Sharma, TV actor Hasan Zaidi, model Namrata Gujaran. Also joining the team are cricketer R P Singh and hockey player Yuvraj Walmiki. The celebrities had a rigorous training before setting out. The expedition started off at Leh with a five day acclimatization trek to Stok Kangri base camp. Arunoday Singh posted this video from here.
Their expedition will make you want to explore the mountains, but you have to be experienced to try this trek.
