I have been to been to Switzerland, to Georgia, to many parts of USA, Canada and a lot of other places on work and for pleasure. And, I know there are still more beautiful places in the world where I have not been. But, nothing, trust me, calms me down like our very own Vagamon does.
Located on the Kottayam- Idukki border, Vagamon is a picturesque hill station with a misty and cool climate all throughout the year.
I stay at Pala, and Vagamon is just there - just beyond. Whenever I get a break from the shooting schedule, I join my friends and family and we spend our day at the ravishing hills in Vagamon. I love the mists, I love the cold and I love the serenity and peace.
The best thing I like about Vagamon is it's refreshing. I feel re-energized when I stretch my hands and breathe in the air here. It's so pure. I find the rustling of the leaves and the wind whispering in my ears captivating. Add to it a stroll through the enchanting pine forests - that completes my day at Vagamon.
Did you know that Vagamon also is a symbol of religious harmony? Vagamon hills are a chain of three hills, namely Thangal hills, Kurushumala hills and Murugan hills.

Nowadays, Vagamon is a favorite spot of people who love adventure sports. It has become the hub of international paragliding. But, I haven't tried it so far. Maybe, in near future, I will give it a try.

Every time I pay a visit and leave Vagamon, I feel mesmerized about the drape of green stretches and the misty mountains, which lure me to make trips to the hills again and again.
