I love beaches. I have traveled alone for most part of my life. And whenever I have come to Kerala, I have stayed at the beach resorts. They were always ones where I used to relax. Ayurveda, massages and see the waves lapping on the beaches. But Kappad beach, which opened up India to Europe holds a special place in my heart. It is not the most spectacular beach that I have been to. But the fact that this beach had a pivotal role to play in history of the state makes it special to me.
