With lockdowns and other restrictions in place due to the COVID-19 pandemic, several celebrities have abandoned outdoor workouts. Fitness-crazy stars are now carrying out daily physical exercises at gyms in their own homes and often post videos and pictures on social media.
Actor Tovino Thomas belongs to this group of famous personalities who are particular about remaining fit and not only engage in strenuous workouts but also encourage others to follow their path. In a recent post, Tovino has shared on Instagram a photo showing him on a bicycle at Vanchippura beach in Thrissur district of Kerala.
The actor had ventured outdoors as part of a cardio workout and wears a mask to stick to the COVID-19 protocols. The wide expanse of the sea, a clear sky and a boat on the beach form the background of the photo.
How to reach
Vanchippura beach is located on the Azhikode - Chamakkala road in Tovino’s hometown Thrissur. It is mostly deserted and offers a peaceful setting. With few visitors reaching the place, the beach is clean and except for a couple of teashops, there are no shops.
Some fishing boats could be seen on the beach, which is an ideal place to enjoy the sunset. Occasionally, family groups arrive at Vanchippura beach in the evenings on weekends to relax.
The beach is four km west of Moonnupeedika on the National Highway 17. Travel one km north on the Beach Road and take the first turn to the left after the Government Fisheries School. A narrow path leads to the Vanchippura beach.
