Malayalam actor Shafna Nizam and her husband Sajin chose to celebrate Onam at an unusual place this year. The couple celebrated Onam at Malamanda, the mountain camp at Kuttikanam in Idukki district.
"The bestest onasadhya experience ever!!! Such a memorable onam this was!!!! It was so lovable and comfortable and memorable being there," Shafna wrote on Instagram, sharing a photo of her having Onam feast with her husband on the misty hill.
Sajin also shared pictures of them enjoying the scenic beauty of the camping site. A trip to Malamanda, a private campsite, on the Kuttikanam hills, includes a five-km offroad drive, treks to the Malamanda viewpoint and night camping on the hills.
Shafna, who made her acting debut as a child artist in Chinthavishtayaya Shyamala in 1998, is known for her roles in films such as Katha Parayumpol, Athmakatha and Oru Indian Paranayakatha. She also acts in TV serials. Sajin, who shared screen space with Shafna in Plus Two, is also a serial artist. The couple got married in 2013.
