Pictures of Bollywood actress holidaying in the stunning locales of Spain with her children Vir and Tara have gone viral on social media. In the photos, Mandira looks much younger than her age of 50 years and sports stylish sunglasses, watches on both hands and a multicoloured bikini.
Fans have praised Mandira for her appearance in their comments posted below the pictures shared on Instagram. The seaside photo was clicked at El Palo beach in Malaga, which is located on the western coast between Pedregalejo and El Chanquete. A popular tourist spot, El Palo is 1,200 m long and 25 m wide.
An ideal destination for conducting a trip with family, El Palo lures travellers with shallow waters and a clean beach. A natural lawn under the shade of date palms is another attraction. Traditional beachfront bars too are present at El Palo. Moreover, facilities at the place are not as expensive as at other tourism destinations in Spain.
Lake Como
Along with photos from Spain, Mandira has posted a video with her children from the banks of Lake Como at Lecco city in Italy. Lecco is located 50 km north of Milan in the Lombardy region of northern Italy. Como is fed by waters from melting glaciers and is the third largest lake in Italy after Garda and Maggiore. Como is also the fifth deepest lake in Europe, with its lowest point 400 metres below the water level. Moreover, Como is the deepest lake outside Norway, with its floor 200 m below sea level.
Como has been a favourite vacation spot of the royalty and the wealthy since Roman times. Several buildings of historical, cultural and artistic importance are present around the lake. Among them are villas and palaces such as Villa Olmo, Villa Serbelloni and Villa Carlotta.
A number of celebrities have owned houses near Como. They include Madonna, Sylvester Stallone, Richard Branson, Mathew Bellamy, George Clooney, John Kerry, Ronaldinho, Giovanni Versace, Julian Lennon, Ben Spikes and Pierina Legnani.
Como is noted for stunning scenery, wildlife and spas. Activities such as boating, windsurfing and kite surfing are also available. Yet another attraction is a visit to the numerous farms around the lake which produce items such as honey, olive oil, cheese, milk, eggs and salamis.
