Spain is touted as one of the beautiful countries in the world where the unique European culture thrives. Interestingly, the tourism sector contributes around 11.8% of the GDP. This, in fact, is the second biggest tourism industry in the world. In 2019, Spain ranked second among the countries where most number of tourists visited. The pleasant weather, serene beaches along the Mediterranean and Atlantic coasts and the splendid archipelagos had always attracted the tourists from Northern Europe. Terra Mitica, Tivoli World, Resort Port and Aventura World are some of the major tourist attractions in Spain.

Meanwhile, Madrid and Barcelona, two of the biggest European cities continue to lure visitors from around the globe. These cities are well known for spirited night life and spectacular parties. Pranav had also posted a picture from Merzouga, a quaint village in South East Morocco. This major tourist spot is around 50 kilometres away from the Algerian border. The sand dunes in the desserts create beautiful structures. Merzouga also has the biggest natural underground spring in Morocco.

Merzouga is know for its ancient villages that are secured by fortresses. In the ancient times, these villages were deserted. However, later, it became a stopover spot and entertainment centre for merchants who travelled to Timbuktu. Eventually it became a place of pilgrimage for gypsies before turning it into a major tourism centre.
