Mohanlal is known for his love for travel and experiencing all things new, just like his son and actor Pranav, a well-known globetrotter. Recently, the mega star's friend Sameer Hamsa shared a video in which the actor can be seen strolling along the markets of Ladakh in his best casually dressed self. Sharing the video on his page, Sameer revealed that the actor is at the spot for the shoot of his next film Empuraan, directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran.

“Another wonderful trip taken with Ab'ram Khureshi Ab'ram where every road leads to new discoveries and our hearts felt pure joy strolling through the markets,” Sameer wrote on his page. It also has a photo of the duo posing in front of 'I love Leh' board in the market. The post got many interesting responses like “The tourists guides, walkers and others there have no clue that it's Malayali's own actor Mohanlal whom they wish to meet up close.” A few others said, “We lost a great chance to meet you in Leh sir,” “We are waiting for the release with patience,” and more.

The market is known for its woollen garments, handwoven clothes, artisanal gifts, Tibetan handicrafts, crockery, pashmina products and more. Tourists also visit locations like the Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa, Zorawar Fort, Jama Masjid and more while at the location. Food enthusiasts also visit the location to procure its amazing dried fruits and jams on sale. Meanwhile, Empuraan, the second instalment of Prithviraj's directorial debut Lucifer, had its first look released recently. It showed Mohanlal's character Abram Khureshi with a gun on a war field. The movie's release is expected next year.
