The Isha Foundation in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, has been luring visitors from across the globe with its spiritual ambience. Actor Saniya Iyyappan and her mother are at the Isha Foundation, exploring it, which is also a hotspot for many celebrities. Sharing a series of photos, Saniya wrote, “Grateful for this energy, and this time with Amma.” The statue of the Adiyogi and the delightful night views from the place could be seen in the photos posted by the actress. 

Isha Foundation was established by Jaggi Vasudev, who is popularly known as the Sadguru. It reportedly took more than a year to build the bust of Lord Shiva in the Velliyangiri valley at the Western Ghats, where it is located. The statue, built in steel, has also been named by the Guinness Book of World Records as the largest bust sculpture of Lord Shiva. The gigantic bust structure, unveiled on a Maha Shivratri day on February 24, 2017, by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stands 112.4 feet tall, 24.99 metres wide, and 147 feet long. Isha Foundation says the statue symbolises the 112 ways to attain liberation through spirituality.

How to reach the accommodation?
The Isha Foundation and the Adiyogi statue are located near Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Visitors hire taxis from Coimbatore to the foundation, which is around 30 kilometres away. Besides, they also take buses from the Gandhipuram bus stand. The bust structure of the Adiyogi is at the Dhyanalinga complex. Bus services to the Dhyanalinga complex are every 45 minutes. You could reach the statue by walking for just seven minutes from the temple here. Accommodation facilities are available at the foundation for visitors from faraway places. However, you need to book the rooms at least two weeks before the scheduled visit as the number of rooms is limited.
