Enjoy some tandoori chai from Thrissur's Tea Hub

Tandoori tea made in hot mud cups is the latest trend in the culinary scene in Kerala. Within a short while after its grand debut, this tea, with its unique flavour and aroma, has conquered the hearts of the tea lovers in Thrissur. This special tea is served at Tea Hub in the Puzhakkal Food Mall.

The tea is poured into attractive mud cups, which are pre-heated in the tandoor over. This gives a delicious earthy flavour to the beverage. At some places, tandoori chai is served in the mud cups itself. However, at Tea Hub, this uniquely brewed tea is served in attractive brass glasses. It is the flavoursome masala tea which is served as piping hot tandoori tea. Besides the tadoori tea, ginger tea, masala tea, sulaimani, lemon tea and cardamom tea are served here. Tea is prepared using fresh cow’s milk and not packaged milk, which actually enhances the taste of it.

Delicious Thalassery snacks like ilayada, kayipola, pazaham niravu, banana-coconut roast, chattipathiri, coffee bun, elanchi, kunjipathal made with beef and chicken, bun niravu, beef pathiri, prawns niravu, chicken pathal, varieties of rolls, vada and bonda too are served at the Tea Hub.
