Traffic curbs in Kozhikode as Pattalam–Town Hall stretch closed for repair

Kozhikode: The City Traffic Police has announced new traffic diversions in Kozhikode city from Monday due to maintenance work on the stretch from Pattalam Juma Masjid to Town Hall. The road will remain completely closed during the work.

Vehicles coming from Pavamani Road via LIC Corner to Mananchira can take a right turn from the Police Commissioner Office Junction, proceed to SBI Junction, and then to the Head Post Office Junction.

Bus diversions:

• Long-route buses to Kannur, Thalassery, Kuttiady, and Thottilpalam from the Mofussil Bus Stand should take the route via Stadium Junction–Puthiyara–Arayidathupalam–Eranhipalam–Karaparamba–West Hill Chungam.
• Short-route buses to Balussery and Koyilandy should turn from the Police Commissioner Office Junction to SBI Junction and proceed to the Head Post Office Junction.
• Buses coming from Mavoor Road Junction heading towards Kannur Road via LIC Corner should take the diversion through SBI Junction and the Head Post Office Junction.
• Meanwhile, roads from the Police Commissioner Office Junction to SBI Junction and from the Post Office Junction to SBI Junction will be temporarily opened for two-way traffic.
