All around Kerala, youngsters have set up many mega trees and decors for this Christmas, making the festival a lot more vibrant than ever before. Joining the league of unique, majestic Christmas trees in the state is Thiruvananthapuram's own 120-feet-tall tree, at LMS Church Compound, Palayam. Till January 4, the tree will entertain and dazzle Thiruvananthapuram with its striking size, more than 5,000 stars, a 20-foot Santa, 40 digital stars, a mega crib, and more.

Koshi Retna, Coordinator of the Christmas tree decorations that are part of CSI South Kerala Diocese's Trivandrum Fest 2025, says that the tree was put together by more than 30 youngsters. "This is the first time we are setting up such a massive tree as part of the festival celebrations," says Koshi. Many on social media term the LMS Christmas tree as the tallest in Asia! "When we checked, the tallest in the world is around 240 feet. Ours may be one of the tallest trees on the continent," claims Koshi.
