Where to spot the Neelakurinji bloom
This season, the spectacular bloom has blanketed the hillsides of Chokramudi and the Mattupetty-Korandakkad range. Thousands of tourists are currently flocking to Munnar daily to witness this spectacular phenomenon, which has also taken social media by storm with viral photos and videos of the mist-covered blue hills.

Korandakkad: A floral paradise
One of the best places to see the flowers is along the Munnar-Mattupetty road at Korandakkad. Travellers from all over the country are arriving here to catch a glimpse of the rare blossoms. Entry tickets to view the Neelakurinji at Korandakkad cost ₹250 for adults and ₹100 for children under 12. Children under five get free admission.

Visitors must strictly refrain from plucking the flowers or damaging the plants. Since this is a protected species, doing so can invite hefty fines and legal action.
