Doha: Ticket sales have begun for the Formula 1 Qatar Grand Prix which will take place at Lusail International Circuit from October 6-8 this year.
Currently, early bird general tickets are available for a limited period on the website of the Lusail Circuit Sports Club. However, the website does not mention when the limited sales would close. The website is https://tickets.lcsc.qa/content
According to the schedule, a practice and a qualifying session will take place on October 6. The next day, the second round of practice and sprint race qualifying session will be conducted. The much-awaited Grand Prix is on October 8, at 8 pm.
Ticket rates
Early bird tickets for the events on October 6 are priced at Qatari Riyals (QAR) 160, after a discount of 20 per cent. Entry is free for children under 12 years of age.
Meanwhile, the tickets to watch the races on October 7 and 8 cost QAR 400 each.
Another option is to purchase tickets for all three days. The rates are, QAR 480 in the general category, QAR 800 for Grand Stand, QAR 1,200 for North Grand Stand and QAR 1,600 for Main Grand Stand.
In addition, the races could also be enjoyed by purchasing tickets in the hospitality section. The rates are: F 1 Paddock Club – QAR 24,576.75; Champions Club – QAR 16,744.96; Premier Hospitality – QAR 14,560.36; Club 16 – QAR 7,641.41 and Lusail Lounge – QAR 2,730.38.
