Arichal Munai in Tamil Nadu's Dhanushkodi, where visitors can see the confluence of the Bay of Bengal and the Indian Ocean, has been a favourite sunrise-sunset photospot for tourists. Its Ram Setu Viewpoint and 'floating rocks' have also made it popular among pilgrims. However, from now on, to check them out, you will have to register in advance for an e-pass. The Tamil Nadu Coastal Zone Management Authority or TNSCZMA has instructed the Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation (TTDC) to implement the system to regulate vehicles that enter the region effectively. Earlier, only Kodaikanal and Ooty tourists were regulated via e-pass. Once the system is implemented in Dhanushkodi, tourists can apply for a pass via this website
