Thiruvananthapuram: The state-run KSRTC has launched Silver Line Jet Express Bus, which is scheduled to travel from the capital to Kasaragod in 12 hours. The bus will have push back seats, wifi and charging points for laptop and mobile phones. It will start from Thiruvananthapuram by 7pm, stop at Kollam (8.20pm), Alappuzha (9.55pm), Ernakulam (11.10pm), Thrissur (12.40am), Kozhikode (3.45am), Kannur (5.35am) and reach Kasaragod at 7.30am. On the return trip, it will start at 8.30pm and reach Thiruvananthapuram by 8.30am the next day. There will be eight stops and two request stops -one at Kottakkal and Mahe. The second 'Silver Jet' will ply between Thiruvananthapuram and Palakkad and cover the distance in about 7 hours and 20 minutes. It will start from Palakkad at 5.30 in the evening and reach Thiruvananthapuram a little after midnight.
