Express trains to restart services this festive season

Kochi: About 60% of the Express Trains that were running before the covid-19 pandemic will be restarting their services. According to the new list, at least 8 trains will be getting back on track. The Kochuveli-Indore special is scheduled from Dec 12th to 26 and the return journey charted from 14th to 28th.

The Ernakulam-Okha special is from Dec 11th to 30th and the return marked from Dec 14th to January 2nd. The Kochuveli-Mysore Express is scheduled for 11th and the return service on the 12th. Special festival trains have been introduced for other zones. The ones travelling within the zones will be charged regular rates. 

Thiruvanthapuram-Ernakulam Vanchinadu Express will start on the 14th and the return journey will be on the 16th.  Ernakulam-Kannur intercity will make both journeys on the 15th, Thiruvanthapuram-Mangalore will start on the 16th and the return service will be on the 19th.

Thiruvanthapuram-Guruvayoor intercity is scheduled on the 15th and the return service will be made on the 16th while the Thiruvanthapuram-Madhura Amrita Express will start on the 23rd and the return service scheduled on the 24th.

Meanwhile, the Southern Railway authorities have clarified that they have made no specific plans regarding the matter of unreserved tickets.
