Riyadh: Saudi Arabia has allowed Indians who travelled to India on a re-entry visa after receiving complete vaccination from there to fly back directly. Re – entry visa permits expats who have been stranded in other countries to travel back to the Kingdom without quarantining in another country for 14 days. The passengers could seek re – entry permission by registering their documents including the vaccination certificate in the Tawakkalna app (the official contact tracing app of Saudi Arabia). Such passengers could return in the flights that are operated as part of the Vande Bharat Mission or on Saudi Arabian airlines. They could also book tickets in the chartered planes that carry employees in the health sector.

UAE cancels visa on arrival
Abu Dhabi: UAE has suspended visa on arrival for Indians who have residency permit in countries like the UK, USA and the European Union. Ethihad Airways stated that this facility wouldn’t be available for those who have been to India at least 14 days prior to travel. It is unclear why UAE has abruptly suspended the decision, just two days after it was announced.
