Enjoy KSTRC's joy ride from Nilambur to Wayanad

The KSRTC excursion, which made waves in the Munnar tourism sector, will now make its way to Wayanad. You can also take a KSRTC bus from Nilambur to Wayanad. The Nilambur-Wayanad service, the first excursion of the Nilambur depot, started on Saturday. Many people have already booked for the one-day trip of KSRTC to Wayanad Green Land.

The train will leave Wayanad on Saturday not only from Nilambur depot but also from Malappuram and Perinthalmanna depots. The bus will leave KSRTC Nilambur depot at 5 am and return at 9.30 pm. Currently, the Nilambur-Wayanad service is only on the second Saturday. The decision was made to change the service according to the number of tourists.

These one-day trips cost around Rs 1,000 per person, inclusive of breakfast, lunch, four o’clock snacks, and dinner.

Main tourist attractions
You can cross the Thamarassery Pass and enjoy the sights of Pookode Lake, Banasura Sagar Dam, Karlad Lake, and the Tea Museum. If the KSRTC's one-day trip to Wayanad is successful, the next KSRTC tour will be to enjoy the tourist attractions in Nilambur. The next KSRTC excursion is planned by the Wayanad District Tourism Promotion Council (DTPC) and other departments.
