Trains cancelled, delayed in Kerala due to maintenance works

Thiruvananthapuram: Some trains conducting services in Kerala have been cancelled while certain others will be delayed over the next few days in view of maintenance works at Kayamkulam Junction and Tripunithura-Ernakulam, Cherthala-Mararikulam and Edappally-Kalamassery sections.

Fully-cancelled trains

No: 06769 Ernakulam Junction-Kollam Junction MEMU Express Special and No: 06768 Kollam Junction-Ernakulam Junction MEMU Express Special on November 20 and 27; December 4, 11 and 14.

Partially-cancelled train

No: 06442 Kollam Junction-Ernakulam Junction MEMU Express Special will terminate service at Alappuzha on December 9, 11, 12, 14, 16, 18, 21, 23, 25, 26, 28 and 30. (Service between Alappuzha and Ernakulam Junction cancelled on these days)

Train to be delayed

No: 16127 Chennai Egmore-Guruvayur Daily Express leaving Chennai Egmore on December 1 will be held up for one hour and 15 minutes during the trip.

Timings changed permanently

Meanwhile, railway authorities also informed that the arrival time of no: 06640 Kanyakumari-Punalur Daily Unreserved Express Special at Thiruvananthapuram Central and Kazhakkoottam has been changed permanently. The new timings are 5.25 pm at Thiruvananthapuram and 5.50 pm at Kazhakkoottam. The earlier timings were 5.15 pm and 5.34 pm respectively. At the same time, there is no change in timings at other stations.
