Indian passport holders travelling to Russia can now avail of e-visa. Passengers from 52 countries including India can enter Russia using e-visa from today onwards. The duration for allowing the visa is four days.

Meanwhile, the consular fee is Rs 3,300. E visa could be used to visit Russia for tourism and commercial purposes. The visa which allows a single entry would be valid for up to sixty days. The visitors can stay in the country for up to sixteen days.

August is the last month of summer in Russia and is generally considered a great time to visit the country. While the beaches in Russia can be crowded at the time, destinations like Moscow or St Petersburg aren't, according to travel experts.

Russia's e-visa services were suspended for a few years following the pandemic. E-visa is often termed a cost-effective solution for travel enthusiasts who want to check out the country.
