Rambo Circus in Kochi from August 25 to 31, for the first time in an A/C auditorium

Kochi: Kochiites get ready to be soaked in some breathtaking acts this Onam. Adding fun and adventure to the festive spirit, the Rambo Circus is coming to Kochi with a bag of astonishing acts and performances.

The event, to be showcased from August 25 to 31, will be staged in an air-conditioned auditorium for the first time -- the Kaloor Gokulam Convention Centre.

Tickets can be booked through the ‘Book My Show’ website or mobile app. The circus team is coming to Kochi after staging shows successfully in different parts of the country including Chennai, Bengaluru, Visakhapatnam, Delhi, and Goa.

During the pandemic, the Rambo Circus used to entertain its followers by holding online shows. It also reached out to school students through various social media platforms, such as Zoom, Teens, YouTube, etc.

The 120-minute show features some astonishing performances such as Bubble Show, Skating, Human Slinging, Sword Act, Cube Juggling, Rolla Bolla, Hula Hoop, and Aerial Rope, which will keep the audience on the edge, said Sujith Dileep, owner of Rambo Circus.

Four shows will be staged every day. The first show will open at 11 am, followed by 1.30 pm, and 4.30 pm and the last show will be at 7.30 pm. The tickets, to be available at Rs 300, Rs 400, and Rs 500, can be purchased through Book My Show.

Thomas Dileep, a native of Karthikapally in Alappuzha, established the Rambo Circus on January 26, 1991, in Pune. Having developed a fire water-proof Italian tent on its own, the Rambo Circus features several international performers and was the first circus team to stage an indoor show. The tent of Rambo Circus, which covers a radius of 235 feet, is the biggest movable tent currently owned by any circus team in the country.
