Kollam: The Kollam - Ernakulam MEMU via Alappuzha (T No 06442) will be rerouted through Kottayam from September 9 onwards to facilitate track maintenance works.
The timing of the Punalur-Kollam MEMU (06661) too has been changed in this connection. The new schedule will be in effect till further announcement, informed Southern Railway officials.
As per the new schedule, the Kollam-Ernakulam MEMU will depart from Kollam at 9.05 pm. The schedule of its arrival at various stations is as follows:
Perinad- 9.17 pm, Munrothuruth – 9.24 pm, Sasthamkotta- 9.31 pm, Karunagappilly – 9.41 pm, Ochira – 9.50 pm, Kayamkulam – 9.58 pm, Mavelikkara – 10.08 pm, Cheriyanad – 10.15 pm, Chengannur- 10.22 pm, Thiruvalla- 10.31 pm, Changanassery – 10.40 pm, Kottayam -11.00 pm, Ettumanur – 11.11 pm, Kuruppanthara – 11.19 pm, Vaikom Road- 11.27 pm, Piravom Road – 11.34, Mulanthuruthy – 11.46, Thrippunithura – 11.57, Ernakulam - 12.30 am
The Punalur-Kollam MEMU will depart at 7.25 pm. Its scheduled arrival in other stations is as follows;-
Avaneswaram – 7.34 pm, Kuri- 7.40 pm, Kottarakkara – 7.48 pm, Ezhukon – 7.56 pm, Kundara East – 8.02 pm, Kundara – 8.07 pm, Chandanathoppu – 8.15 pm, Kilikollur – 8.20 pm and Kollam – 8.40 pm
