Morocco's historical tourist sites in Marrakech, including Bahia Palace, Badi Palace, Saadian Tombs and more are now open for tourists, after remaining closed for almost a month after a devastating earthquake on September 8. The initiatives to reinstate the damaged sites are on, but tourists are already flocking to the sites, as per reports. Therefore, some portions of the sites will remain closed to the public.

The African country welcomed more than 10 million tourists this year, till the earthquake happened last month. From its ancient ruins to the Atlas mountains, many pretty locales of the country have been attracting celebs and common men tourists alike. The 6.8 magnitude quake had killed close to 3,000 people and damaged more than 2900 villages and 60,000 homes. The city of Marrakech is known for its beautiful architecture, souks, historic palaces, hammam baths, mosques, and gardens and is often known as the 'city of luxury.'
