Engineering works: Railways cancel, regulate various train services

Thrissur: Various train services have been cancelled, rescheduled or short-terminated to facilitate engineering works in various sections under the jurisdiction of Palakkad railway division in the coming days. Passengers have been advised by the railway authorities to plan their travelling accordingly. The services of Shoranur – Kozhikode Express Special (train no. 06455) leaving Shoranur at 8.40 pm on February 10, 17 and 24 are fully cancelled. Likewise, the services of Kozhikode – Shoranur Express Special (train no. 06454) leaving Kozhikode at 5.20 am on February 11, 18 and 25 are fully cancelled.

The services of Nilambur – Shoranur Express Special (train no. 06470) leaving Nilambur at 5.30 am on February 17, 18, 24th and 25 are fully cancelled. Similarly, the service of Shoranur – Nilambur Express Special (train no. 06467) leaving Shoranur at 9 am on February 17, 18, 24 and 25 are fully cancelled. The Kochuveli – Nilambur Raja Rani Express (train no. 16349) scheduled to leave Kochuveli at 8.50 pm on February 16, 17, 23 and 24 is rescheduled to leave Kochuveli at 10.30 pm, late by one hour 40 minutes.

The Kochuveli – Shri Ganganagar Express (train no. 16312) scheduled to leave Kochuveli at 3.45 pm on February 10 is rescheduled to leave Kochuveli at 8 pm, late by four hours and 15 minutes. The Kochuveli – Shri Ganganagar Express (train no. 16312) scheduled to leave Kochuveli at 3.45 pm on February 17 has been rescheduled to leave Kochuveli at 6.15 pm, late by two and a half hours. The Dr MGR Chennai Central – Mangaluru Central West Coast Superfast Express (train no. 22637) scheduled to leave Dr MGR Chennai Central at 1.25 pm on February 10 is rescheduled to begin its journey at 4.40 pm, late by three hours and 15 minutes.

Change of origin
The Mangaluru Central – Dr MGR Chennai Central West Coast Superfast Express (train no. 22638) scheduled to leave Mangaluru Central at 11.45 pm on February 15 will originate from Mangaluru Junction at 12.30 am on February 16 instead of Mangaluru Central.

Partial cancellation
The Alappuzha – Kannur Express (train no. 16307) leaving Alappuzha at 3.50 pm on March 2 will be partially cancelled between Kozhikode and Kannur. The train will be short-terminated at Kozhikode.
