New Delhi: The Chinese Embassy in India stated that it has approved more than 85,000 visas for Indian nationals until April this year. Chinese Ambassador to India Xu Feihong welcomed Indians to visit China, in a note posted on X. Meanwhile, the Chinese government has simplified the visa processing and announced exciting plans to woo Indian tourists.

Relaxations in visa guidelines
1) Reduced the visa fee
2) Applicants could apply directly at the visa centres on working days without taking an appointment
3) Relaxation in submitting biometric details for short-term visitors
4) Made visa processing faster by reducing delays

China lures Indian tourists to enjoy its unique culture, interesting tourist destinations, impressive festivals, and amazing scope for higher education. The latest regulations are also likely to make it easier for Indian students to pursue courses in Chinese universities. Travelling to China had become extremely difficult for Indians after severe restrictions were imposed on international travellers after the COVID-19 outbreak.
