As KSRTC gears up for one of its biggest fleet upgrades, the department is all set to introduce the new vehicles to the public through a mega exhibition. Titled 'Transpo 2025,' it will be held at Thiruvananthapuram's Kanakakkunnu Palace from August 22 to 24. All major automobile companies are expected to take part in the event, which will also feature KSRTC's new tri-colour seater-sleeper buses. 

KSRTC is set to launch approximately 164 buses soon, including sleeper mini buses, fast passenger buses, super fast passenger buses, fast passenger link buses, premium sleeper buses, and seater cum sleeper buses. Recently, Transport Minister KB Ganesh Kumar had conducted their trial run as well.

Transpo 2025 will be inaugurated on the evening of August 21 by Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. The double-decker buses of Munnar and Kochi, which have been a significant boost to KSRTC's budget tourism cell, are also expected to be part of the event. 

The three-day event will also have cultural events staged by KSRTC employees. Transport Minister KB Ganesh Kumar said that there is also a plan to form a KSRTC Employees cricket team. Entry is free for Transpo 2025.
