Bengaluru: The KSRTC has replaced the deluxe and AC seater buses from Bengaluru to Kottarakkara via Mysuru with brand new AC seater cum sleeper buses to ensure better travelling experiences for the passengers. Meanwhile, the route and the timings remain the same. The usual services have been resumed after the buses that operated as Onam special services returned to their respective depots. KSRTC stated that passengers who had booked tickets in the old buses would be allowed to sit in the new buses without any additional charges. New AC sleeper services would begin to Kottayam and Pathanamthitta this month itself.

Bengaluru – Kottarakkara AC seater cum sleeper bus
The bus departs the Satellite Bus Terminal in Bengaluru at 4.15 pm. It reaches Kottarakkara at 8 the next morning via Mysuru (6.35 pm), Bathery (9.50 pm), Kozhikode (12.20 am), Thrissur (3 am), Angamaly (3.50 am), Muvattupuzha (4.35 am), Thodupuzha (4.50 am), Erattupetta (5.40 am), Kanjirappally (6.05 am), Erumely (6.25 am), Pathanamthitta (7 am) and Pathanapuram (7.35 am).

Meanwhile, the return trip starts at 2 pm from Kottarakkara and covers the same route before reaching Bengaluru at 7.40 am. The ticket for the upper berth costs Rs 1,834 while the seater costs Rs 1,473. The service that runs to Kottarakkara via Erumely would be beneficial for the pilgrims to Sabarimala.

Bengaluru – Thiruvananthapuram AC seater cum sleeper (via Kottayam)
This bus starts at 1.45 pm from the Satellite bus terminal. It stops at Mysuru (4.20 pm), Bathery (6.30 pm), Kozhikode (9.25 pm), Thrissur (12.45 am ), Kottayam (3.55 am) and Kottarakkara (5.40 am) before reaching Thiruvananthapuram by 7.15 am. The return service starts at 4 am and reaches Bengaluru by 10.10 am. The upper berth costs Rs 1,933 while the lower seater costs Rs 1,543. To book tickets, please visit our website.
