The 26651 KSR Bengaluru-Ernakulam Vande Bharat, which is expected to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi this week, will likely be in service from November 7, Friday. Initially, it will be an eight-coach train. The first service will be from Ernakulam to Bengaluru. The six-day train will be the third Vande Bharat service in Kerala, alongside the Thiruvananthapuram - Kasaragod and the Thiruvananthapuram-Mangaluru Vande Bharat trains. 

The train will not operate on Wednesdays and has six stops between Bengaluru and Ernakulam. According to reports, the train's first service might be an inaugural special run. The train booking has not started yet, but is expected to begin within a day or two. The train will depart from KSR Bengaluru station at 5.10 am and arrive at Ernakulam Junction at 2.20 pm. On the return journey, the train (26652) will depart from Ernakulam at 2.20 pm and reach Bengaluru by 11 pm.
