Kannur: This month, KSRTC has several perfect misty locations lined up for tourists. Those interested in checking out this year's Navy Day celebrations in Thiruvananthapuram's Shanghumukham can also book a trip through KSRTC's budget tourism cells. Here are the details.

Navy Day demo
A spectacular display of India’s naval strength will be held on December 3 at the coast from Shangumukham, Thiruvananthapuram, to Veli as part of the Navy Day operational demo. Meanwhile, KSRTC offers a rare opportunity to witness a naval operational demo for the first time in Kerala. Trips have been arranged from Kannur, Payyannur and Thalassery depots in the district. The journey starts at 5 pm on December 2 and reaches Thiruvananthapuram the next morning.

After visiting the Kappukad elephant sanctuary, Veli tourist village and boating in Poovar, the group will head to the Shangumukham beach by 4 pm to watch the naval demo. The group will visit Kanyakumari the next day, where they will visit Thriparappu Waterfall, Padmanabhapuram Palace, Kanyakumari Temple, the Glass Bridge, and Vivekananda Rock. The bus returns to Kannur on December 5.
