A new stop has been added at Ettumanoor, Kottayam, for the Ernakulam – Kayamkulam (16309/10) express MEMU. The train operates every day at 4.34 pm, and the new stop is a welcome addition for passengers. The stop was allowed after the Friends on Rails association of train commuters wrote to the authorities requesting it. The train had stopped only at Piravom and Tripunithura until now.
