How to do retirement right? Kerala woman shows the way

What first comes to our mind when we hear the word retirement? A boring life, confined to home after all responsibilities are over? This Kerala woman begs to differ. Baker Liz Ann Benny recently shared a reel on social media in which she shows her mom, who was recently retired, touring across Europe right from the day after her retirement. 

Liz's reel begins with the line, 'Everyone is asking me what is amma doing after retirement,' and it goes on to show how her mom's retirement photos, followed by a few snapshots from her trips to various European cities. Paris, Lourdes, Rome, Venice, Madrid, and countries like Switzerland, Germany, the Vatican and Portugal figure on the reel. Every frame shows how her mother is making the most of it, playing in the snow in Switzerland, checking out the iconic spots of Paris, Rome, Vatican and more.  The mother's name is not mentioned on the post or the reels. 

Social media names her 'queen'
Over the past few days, the video has gone viral on Instagram and other social media platforms.  Social media is applauding this mother who celebrates travel and freedom, breaking age boundaries. This reel also seems to have given wings to the travel dreams of many. Comments like 'This is the kind of woman I want to be in my 60s!', 'Either live like this, or nothing at all', 'Mom is truly enjoying her life, like a queen', 'I want to travel like this too' are flooding below the video.
