Onam special: KSRTC to operate additional interstate service from August 18 onwards

KSRTC will operate additional interstate services from August 18 to September 2 to meet the high demand during the Onam holiday season. Thiruvonam day is August 26 this year. Services have been scheduled from various depots to Bengaluru, Mysuru and Chennai and back. Tickets could be booked via the website and the mobile app. Besides, passengers could reserve seats directly at the ticket counter. 

These are the special services, with the number of trips in the bracket: 
Bengaluru – Kozhikode (8)
Bengaluru – Malappuram, Bengaluru (3)
Bengaluru – Ernakulam (4)
Bengaluru – Alappuzha, Kollam, Kottarakkara, Punalur, Cherthala, Haripad, Kottayam, Payyannur (one super deluxe service each)
Bengaluru – Kannur (4)
Mysuru – Kannur (2)
Mysuru – Ernakulam, Thrissur; Bengaluru – Thiruvananthapuram; Chennai – Thiruvananthapuram; Chennai – Ernakulam (one super deluxe service each).
