KSRTC's new luxury AC Volvo bus with restroom, pantry on TVM-Ernakulam route: How to book

Commuters travelling between Thiruvananthapuram and Ernakulam can now look forward to an executive-class journey as the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) launches its premium luxury AC Volvo bus service. From August 20, this high-end service will offer maximum comfort to frequent business and leisure travellers alike, with online bookings already open.

Service schedule and route details
The executive service will operate on weekdays, from Monday to Friday. The morning service will depart from Thiruvananthapuram at 5.30 am, heading to Ernakulam via Kollam Ayathil, Alappuzha Komadi, and the High Court, before reaching its final destination at 9.5 am. For the return journey, the luxury bus will depart from Ernakulam at 5.30 pm, following the same route to arrive in Thiruvananthapuram at .45 pm.

Airline-style amenities on wheels
To ensure a premium travel experience, the Volvo coach is fitted with just 36 premium reclining seats, providing ample legroom. In a first for regional state transport services, the bus features an onboard restroom and a dedicated pantry system, complete with a mini-refrigerator and a coffee maker. Each passenger seat has an individual entertainment screen to keep travellers engaged throughout the four-hour journey. Additionally, the bus offers free Wi-Fi and individual USB charging ports at every seat to keep devices powered on the go.
