After spending a few years in Belgium and Canada, Sreelakshmi and Sharan decided that the real quality of life they were looking for was in the arms of family and friends.

Upon their return to Kerala, they decided to set up a small snack stall from the trunk of their car selling hot chai and buttery bun maska—a personal favourite for the couple.

But little did they know that their preferred four o' clock snack would soon become a crowd favourite, attracting customers from all over the state who come to share a snack and a conversation with The Chai Couple.
