I feel the gush of tears in my eyes.
They swell my eye; blur my vision.
Let them roll down the cheek,
And calm down the heart.
No, they hide round the corner,
As they see the bright sunshine.
The lips are faking a smile.
And the eyes, they can’t.
They swell up and up,
But they can’t fall down.
Like the rain coming on earth,
After a cloudy sky.
Rain may come down,
People may break down,
But my tears aren’t falling…
They sink my heart.
