ISI Admission Test 2020: Indian Statistical Institute starts online application process

Indian Statistical institute (ISI), Kolkata invited online application for the year 2020 which will conclude on March 6.

The entrance examinations will be held for Under Graduate, Post Graduate, Post Graduate Diploma, research programmes and PG Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA). ISI conducts separate entrance tests for PGDBA and other courses offered at the Institute. There are 66 test centres including Thiruvananthapuram, Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad.

The admission test will be held on May 10.

The courses for which the ISIS Admission Test 2020 will be held include B.Stat (Hons), M.Stat., M.Math, MS (QE), MS (QMS), MS (LIS), M.Tech. (CS), M.Tech. (CrS), M.Tech. (QROR), PG Diplomas and Research Fellowships.

Students who wish to apply for the undergraduate courses will have to pass two stages of written test. For postgraduate and JRF applications, students will have to take up a written test as well as a subsequent interview.

Candidates who are selected to study at ISI will receive a stipend per month except for courses like one-year PG Diploma in Agricultural and Rural Management with Statistical Methods and Analytics. Whereas students from North-East India will be receiving the stipend for the same.

Interested candidates can apply at https://www.isical.ac.in/~admission/. The instructions are given on the site. The application fee is Rs 1250. Women applicants belonging to general category will have to pay Rs 750. SC/ST and other backward caste applicants will have to pay Rs 625.
